e met during junior year at Auburn University at our gym, Tiger Iron. Joey walked up and introduced himself, claiming Emily had been staring at him for days. Emily still insists that was absolutely not true… and that debate is still alive and well.

Our first date was at Fuji Sushi in Auburn (one of the only foods we can both fully agree on), and it quickly became “our spot.” Conversation came easy that night, and it still does. After only a month after officially dating, we brought home our beautiful dog, Coda, and the three of us have been inseparable ever since.

After graduating from Auburn, we moved to Nashville and started building our life here, where we still live today. We keep each other laughing, grounded, and motivated—and we’re really excited for what’s ahead. We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding day with friends and family on our exact five-year anniversary.
